TBH, knowing how to program does take a lot of the ~magic~ out of it. Just wait until the first day you spend hours and hours dismantling a section of code, searching desperately for a logic error, only to find out it was some stupid syntax typo. And by then, you've commented out so much, you can't remember how to get it back to the stage it was at when it first stopped working. Disillusionment 101.

So maybe it's better than you don't?

Yeah, basically this. The frustration of why doesn't it work, why won't it work, why isn't it working, and then going over the code line by line and finding out you typoed a tag.

Not that I've done that or anything...except about fifty million times...
