I have to disagree with the people saying it would be okay if the men were sexualized too. I don't think the solution to displaying characters as sexual objects is to display MORE characters as sexual objects. Unless the characters are strippers or prostitutes (or somehow have sexual poses incorporated into their character), there's really no need for ANY of them to be posed like that.

Black Widow is sort of famous for using sex appeal to manipulate people in order to get information. She's a spy, it's a psychological technique that works

I see what you mean, and I sort of agree, but when people see ONLY the female character with a sexy doll, it's pretty much saying "This is what women are good for, this is why you care about women, etc". It's not that I'm offended on behalf of Black Widow, she's not real. I'm offended on behalf of women.

So when both sexes are being objectified, then it's just an issue of whether it's okay to objectify fictional characters, which I'm not sure if that's actually wrong. But it's definitely not saying anything negative about men or women.
