Re: Of flower eggs and rosewater: Pictures of the settings of a Malay wedding
(Anonymous) 2013-02-10 06:02 am (UTC)(link)Out of curiosity, what would the goody bags normally contain? I may be misunderstanding, but I get the impression it wouldn't usually be just a cup.
Re: Of flower eggs and rosewater: Pictures of the settings of a Malay wedding
And about the goody bags, usually most goody bags in Malay weddings contain a mixture of pandan-flower mix, sweets, maybe a traditional kueh -pastries and cookies, to oversimplify- and a small memento of the wedding.
But nope! Instead of the usual, we did this.
1. Place four pieces of chocloate into the teeny-tiny plastic bag and seal it tight.
2. Place the plastic bag into the cup.
3. Place the cup into the goody bag and close it tight.
4. Happy nutipals.
Now don't get me wrong! Ordering cups isn't exactly cheap but it was certainly weird. 0_o
