Well, the Tarantino-verse is a difficult one to write in. For one, how do you write fluffy fics for Tarantino? Mostly everyone dies.

I find Tarantino very, very overrated, so I don't see myself writing fics for his works, fluffy or not.

You seemed to be saying people don't create fanworks for his stuff because it's not that happy. I said they don't necessarily have to be happy or fluffy. I was not saying YOU had to be the one to create them. Calm down.

Be the change you wish to see in the world, OP.

If you want a Big Bang for your fandom and there isn't one, go ahead and mod it yourself. Pick a time you think people will be able to do it, set a schedule, make a comm, and advertise like crazy in the relevant comms. It'll be some work, but it's the best way to guarantee what you want, which I take it is more longfic in your fandom. If you're not up for it alone, try to find a co-mod.

There is a Reservoir Dogs centric kink meme (which is more of a general fic meme, tbh, but has some pretty good stuff).
I'd be totally up for a Tarantino centric community, though!

As far as fanworks go for Tarantino films, Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction, and Inglourious Basterds are the most popular (with a smattering of Death Proof).

I'd love to see more for Jackie Brown, myself.

It bothers me that Reservoir Dogs is older than a lot of people in fandom. What the hell, fandom, when I was a teen, everyone was in their 20s/30s!

... which is probably why there's a lot of Inglorious Bastards crap and no Reservoir Dogs (which is made for shipping).

The fact that there is infinitely more IB fic than RD fic is a cause of soul-deep pain for me, I swear. I see all these teens on Tumblr talking about their love for older men, yet it seems that shipping Harvey Keitel and Tim Roth characters just isn't within their scope.
