Oh, is the No.6 dub out? I'll have to give it a listen, I was meaning to rewatch the series as it was. And see if Greg Ayres wasn't completely miscast as Sion.

Yep. It's been out for a little while, now. I personally think Greg Ayres makes an amazing Sion, but then I'm one of the dub-loyalists, lol. :) Although, saying that, I did really enjoy No. 6 in Japanese, too.

Is it true the actor for Nezumi says dude and things like that? I haven't had a chance to watch it dubbed yet, but several people I know did and apparently it was a thing, so I'm legitimately curious.

Greg Ayres is Shion? Is he the one that VA'd Goku from Saiyuki and Chrono from Chrono Crusade?

I just know him as Gau from Nabari no Ou and Shinji in Lux-Pain, so I couldn't say for sure. He was good as those roles, I just don't really know how to feel about him as Sion.

I haven't seen those, unfortunately, but they did help me overcome bad memory to double-check and make sure he was the right VA! Thanks for the extra info.

But because of that, I definitely think I would have to watch it and see how he does, since I feel the same as you. From what I remember, he didn't have a lot of range, but those were both ADV, so it might have been direction. Sentai might have someone different handling dubs now.
