This. I'm the same way. Since I don't understand the language fully, it bothers me less if the acting isn't as good whereas when it's been dubbed into my native language, I'm far more aware of any uncomfortable pauses, poor acting choices, awkward phrasing, et cetera.

I also tend to be far more forgiving in general when it comes to voices that I might find annoying in my native language. For some reason, they just bother me less.
