Are you kidding me? The SM dub was horrendous although I didn't learn how awful it was until I did watch the subs. All the English VAs sounded like they were yelling even in the quiet, non-action scenes.

And let's not forget the changes to the dialogue, story lines, cutting out of whole "unacceptable" episodes, not showing all the seasons b/c of "questionable" content in them, and changing the lesbian relationship between Uranus/Neptune (Haruka/Michiru; not entirely sure of their English names (Alex? and Michelle?) into one between cousins. No homophobia there. At all. :(

On what planet is that a good and acceptable dub? It's not. Let's not pretend it is.

Actually, Haruka had a girl name in the dub, but it was something unusual like Amara.

I also think the person you're replying to mixed up sub and dub.
