I just don't like watching any media dubbed, regardless of the original language. I want to hear the performances as the original creators and producers intended them to be, not an English actor's interpretation of an English producer's interpretation of the original media.

It's not bad to have that opinion, but just so you know, the original creators (in the case of manga adapted to an anime, which is usually the case in Japan), the manga creator, doesn't cast voice actors and doesn't necessarily even have a say in the anime production. Once rights are bought, the producers can consult the manga artist/writer if they choose, but they are also free to change, adjust, and use their own interpretations as they see fit.

So in that case, a Japanese voice actor doesn't necessarily qualify as "the way the creator intended."

THIS.

This exactly.

So, do you never ever watch anime's based off of manga? Because the manga's writer/artist don't get a ton of say in what happens in the anime.

Butthurt dub fan detected.

it's still the original form of the media, though, so in that sense it's closest to what the author wanted.
