generally I'll appreciate whatever I saw first, but agreed.

This! I generally can't stand subs of things that I've seen dubbed first, not because the voice acting is bad, but because I'm so used to the way the characters sound in a dub that the (often vastly different) Japanese voices throw me for a loop. Same thing applies when seeing something subbed first.
