I usually prefer dubs, because I like being able to do other things while watching something, and that's easier when I don't have to look at the screen every few seconds to know what's going on. It can also be difficult trying to find good subs, sometimes they just don't look right, sometimes the translations aren't great, and sometimes the translators are just lazy. Plus it gets a bit annoying having to listen to female characters squeak out their lines. It's fine if the character is young, but once they get to be around sixteen they shouldn't be sounding like that.
