And once again, I'm not disagreeing with that. I never said we should love all female characters simply because they're female. I do not love or even like every single female character I've ever come across. There are plenty I had no interest in either way and several I have actively disliked. For the female characters I do love, I don't love them BECAUSE they're female. I will admit to having a bias toward female characters because I relate to them more often than to male characters and I cut them more slack than their male counterparts for a lot of reasons. All of this makes it easier for me to love and embrace female characters, but it does not mean I judge them solely on their gender.


My only point in the love > hate argument is that if we have to see an extreme view on the subject, I find it a nice change of pace that it's not the hatred we're so used to seeing. This does not mean I agree with the content of the secret or share the viewpoint of the secret-maker.
