I agree so, so much. Not only is the person probably trying to learn about something from people who clearly know what they're talking about, rather than doing the research themselves and possibly getting it all wrong, but it's a really assholish attitude to have. Especially if it's something that just requires a short, easy answer.

that website is funny to me because when someone uses it is like...well, thanks for typing up a website + the search term + copying the link + going back to the comment thread + giving me the link which types out the search term and gives me results. I sat very prettily while you went out of your way to avoid human communication and look like a douchebag.
