IS THIS ME? Because I had the same problem with these covers; the first book was okay but after that, the model for Alexia got progressively skinnier and her skin got lighter until the Alexia on the last book cover looked nothing like the one in the book. Ugh.

The issue was actually brought up with the author on LJ and she didn't seem to have a problem with it. Maybe she doesn't care, I don't know, but I'd personally be pissed if my publisher was misrepresenting my heroine on my covers.

That's disappointing, because the author seems cool. :( I get that she might want to be diplomatic about the cover art and all, but the model's only resemblance to Alexia is in the clothing!
