A lot of the time these SJW come in and misrepresent an actual minority I'm in (because they're not part of it, or because they are only part of it by the biggest stretch of the imagination and haven't actually ever been perceived as such). And in the middle of enjoying a post about my favourite show or whatever, I feel compelled to correct the stereotype they are reinforcing of that particular minority. No, I don't technically have to do so, but it's hard to sit back and enjoy something when they're making an entire minority seem like petty little dicks about something. Minorities are judged by single members much of the time, and I'd rather have no exposure than "whiny child that wants its toy" exposure.

Okay, yeah, you're right about that. Wanna-be SJWs who are ignorant dumbasses and try to generalize about minorities as a way of 'helping' them are annoying as hell.

For a bunch of people who claim to be all about supporting minorities, SJWs sure are antisemitic.

Because if you are, as I suspect, talking about the vehement disapproval of Israel in the Israel/Palestine conflict that seems prevalent in SJ circles...

The ever-popular "people only care about the Holocaust because it was about white people being told they aren't white enough" post on Tumblr, and general denial of antisemitism even being a Thing, because Jews are white/white-passing.

Don't forget "Jewish Holocaust victims had white privilege" or "Jews are to blame for non-Jews who died in the Holocaust not getting as much exposure as Jewish victims, because Jews control the media."

Not about the Holocaust, but Israel had been pushing hard, and very openly, to not let the Armenian Genocide be recognized.

Until they had the fallout with the Turks.

Conflating the Israeli government with the Jewish people as a whole = another thing SJWs do.

Okay, I haven't personally run across that but it does sound fucking annoying. Raising awareness about other victims of the Holocaust does not mean it's okay to act like Jews weren't badly affected by it.

Jews are white so the SJWs who have caught up on that (because most Americans seem to think that Middle Easterner = POC) make sure to bash them for it.

Not all Jews are white though. And even the ones who ARE white aren't considered white in every part of the world.

Actually, does any other country than America and Britain officially categorize their citizens by their race? (White, Black, Asian, mixed etc)

Because in mine and the neighboring countries this does n't happen in any shape or form.

I went to the Canada demographics and there are no race categories, just ethnic origin ones.

Australia? They have stopped calling Jews, Greeks, Turks and Italians non-white 'wogs' for quite some time.

See, that's what I'm talking about. Mention antisemitism in any form and SJWs will always, ALWAYS bring it back to Israel. Even if you're complaining about someone making Holocaust jokes, or even actual fucking antisemitic hate crimes, the SJWs don't give a shit about that because JEWS = ISRAEL= EVIL.

I am part-Jewish by a large, but somewhat uncertain percentage (my country was really affected by WW2). Since I'm not perceived as such, though, I try not to talk about things I have no idea about. The antisemitism is really disgusting, though, and the constant Nazi comparisons are really horrid.

Cannot edit obviously but the Jewish thing is one of several things I get really pissed off about regarding this, the trans shit being a huge one.

I thought Muslim (though I know OP already commented she's Jewish). Cuz the SJWs seem pretty convinced that every single muslim woman wears a hijab/covers her face because it's not like they're people who make their own choices or that the muslim religion isn't a monolith-- everyone practices it the same way don't you know??

There's a pretty large movement in various places to stope people (particularly overzealous non-Muslim feminists) from assuming that every Muslim woman who wears a hijab is doing so under duress.

Obviously, in some places/some cases women are being forced to wear them, but that doesn't mean that you get to tell all Muslim women that it wrong for them to wear one.
