(Anonymous) 2013-02-16 12:05 am (UTC)(link)2) I obviously don't know what this is (see above) but even just from your description, I'm finding it hard to figure out a way to see it as positive. I mean, "taking what little bit of intimacy she can out of action" in the context of the other person being sick and needing medical assistance sounds like something that's really good or admirable; it sounds like you're describing a problem with it, not a way in which it's acceptable.
