1) What is this?

2) I obviously don't know what this is (see above) but even just from your description, I'm finding it hard to figure out a way to see it as positive. I mean, "taking what little bit of intimacy she can out of action" in the context of the other person being sick and needing medical assistance sounds like something that's really good or admirable; it sounds like you're describing a problem with it, not a way in which it's acceptable.

It looks a lot like Tina and Blaine from Glee. I don't watch any more, but Blaine is gay and they've given Tina a crush on him for some reason.

I thought people were joking when they told me Tina was creeping on Blaine. I can't believe Glee has gotten even dumber/weirder/more messed up since I stopped watching it (actually, yeah...yeah, I believe it)

I'm shocked too. This secret has scared me off of ever watching Glee again. What the hell are they doing to Tina?

I don't watch Glee (I think I saw some of S1 or S2), was this portrayed as something cute or romantic? My understanding is that the male character is gay and would never hook up with the female character.

Granted, I watched the scene with my eyes half-closed/not really paying attention so I could've missed something but did she ASK him if she could undress him, straddle him and spread that vapo-stuff all over his chest? Because his informed consent would make this scene much less creepy.

I don't know what the intention was behind this scene but unless he gave informed consent, this was a form of sexual assault. Straddling someone, undressing someone, rubbing your hands on someone who is asleep/unconscious = sexual assault. It would've been sexual assault even if she hadn't straddled him, thanks to the undressing/chest-rubbing.

Honestly? It only lasted a few seconds and it didn't seem sexual at all. It also didn't seem "sweet" or "loving" or whatever, either, just kind of pathetic. *shrug*

To be honest, I shouldn't be this surprised. Sue did rape Principal Figgins in S1 and it was totally played for laughs. *gags* I'm glad I haven't watched anything but music clips since the end of S2. Actually, I'm kind of ashamed that I hung on that long. I blame Brittany and Santana.
