Seriously, touching someone who is sleeping in any way without prior consent is, *at best*, a complete disrespect of their boundaries and autonomy. I watched this scene and was completely skeeved out.

Well, yeah, but Tina definitely wasn't just rendering aid, haha. The Vaporub wasn't so bad, but the straddling and undressing and the way it was *shot* to imply intimacy... ick. It made my skin crawl.

What if you're in an established relationship and don't particularly have consent at that particular moment? I mean, is it alright for anyone to wake their partner up with some impulsive lovin' even if they don't give their consent at that exact moment? Is it crossing a line or is there some measure of implied consent?

Not that the question is in any way relevant to the secret, I'm just curious.

That's one of those things that doesn't get a blanket answer, really. I would say that if you don't *know* whether or not your partner will be okay with it, the answer is that it is safer to assume it's nonconsensual, and the solution is to just ask.

That said, I personally really enjoy morning sex and being woken up that way, so it's something I discuss with partners beforehand. And even then, I probably would *not* enjoy waking up to more than just petting.
