Re: ELEMENTARY (thread may contain spoilers)
The only thing that kind of bothered me is that Joan hit Sherlock in the face with the basketball. I don't know, hitting someone square in the face is a rather mean thing to do, imo. And she waited until he turned around, too. :/
But all in all, yes. I'm loving this show more and more with every episode <3

And for the other, Sherlock's stunt in the beginning was obviously way out of line and treated as such during the rest of the episode, whereas the last scene was treated as his comeuppance. And while I definitely think he had something coming (I was cheering for Joan when she knocked over his wall of locks and when she was picking up the basketball at the end) a deliberate hit to the face has, to me, some really shitty connotations.
Joan's supposed to be the more mature and put together of the two; I can believe that Sherlock could justify and pull a stunt like in the beginning, because let's face it, he's not the most well-adjusted Brit out there, but, given what I associate with it, I can't see Joan deliberately aiming at Sherlock's head in retaliation, especially after the scene in Bell's apartment.
If she'd hit him anywhere else, even the back of his head, I would have cheered for her, but hitting his face at this particular time (it would have worked for me had it been before Sherlock asked her to stay as his partner) doesn't jibe with her character, imo.
Which is all a very long and elaborate way of saying that I have issues with people getting hit in the face, especially by friends or people they trust.

I never said that that was equal (or worse) to what Sherlock did. Of fucking course the attack in the beginning was terrible and worse than getting a basketball to the face (thinking back, I probably didn't mention that yet excplicitly, but on the other hand, I didn't think I had to say it. The guy pretended to be a burglar/killer a week after Joan was taken hostage in her home, of course that's completely out of line), but that doesn't change the fact that, to me, someone you trust deliberately hitting you in the face has unfortunate implications. I never said that Sherlock's actions and Joan's "revenge" were the same thing or on the same level.
Had Sherlock hit Joan in the face with the (tennis, I think it was) ball I'd have the same kneejerk reaction of DNW.
