The thing that really skeeved me out about ASOIAF and in fact turned me off from reading it past the first book was the stuff with Daenerys.

I could stand the rape scenes if it wasn't blatantly obvious the author was getting off to them, and especially if he didn't mention her thirteen year old breasts every few sentences.

Like, fuck it, I want to enjoy the series but the author will not quit going on about a thirteen year old girl's breasts there is something wrong there.

Nope. Just falling back on a stupid shorthand phrase like that tends to demonstrate the shallowness of the writer's thought process. It also tends to make legitimate criticism read like high school bullshit when it's added.
