Huh, wow, that's a really good point. The earlier books did make me scratch my head and wonder if GRRM forgot that men are raped too, but with Reek and that priest guy in ADWD, he clearly hasn't, which makes the lack of it on the Night's Watch even stranger. The isolation, the extreme circumstances, the absolute gender segregation (with the minor exception of Mole Town, which half the Watch can't even get to), the presence of multiple convicted rapists, and... nothing. Nada.

Wtf, GRRM? I've noticed that he really pulls his punches wrt other -isms (but not sexism) and argued that point before, but... shit. Yeah, you're right. Apparently "realism" is only for female victims. And that sucks for survivors of both genders.
