And, uh, 11? Sometimes people like to ... write things they want to write. In their journals. I know the concept is hard to grasp.

*SNORT* Oh God, well said, well said.

[identity profile] dots.livejournal.com 2007-09-03 10:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Seriously. I mean, I post about my fandoms and roleplays a lot, but I also talk about work, about politics, about whether I get sick, about things that stress me out and upset me. Because it's kind of my journal!

[identity profile] ovendoor.livejournal.com 2007-09-03 10:35 pm (UTC)(link)
EXACTLY! I mean for crying out loud it's a freaking journal what else are you supposed to put it in besides things you um, POSSIBLY MAY WANT TO WRITE ABOUT?.It makes me think what the hell #11 even puts in their LJ.

[identity profile] dots.livejournal.com 2007-09-03 10:36 pm (UTC)(link)
And the "every four days" part weirds me out. Every four days is a lot? I post about personal shit usually at least once a day.

[identity profile] ovendoor.livejournal.com 2007-09-03 10:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Same here, i update my LJ daily about things i've done, or things i saw that bugged me, it's pretty God damn selfish to restrict someone what they can and cannot express in their journal. Sheesh.

Seriously. Not everyone is going to go on and on about fandom. And not everyone is going to go on and on about the fandom they share with you.

I mean, yeah one of my requirements for friending is you have to share at least one fandom with me, but you don't have to share every fandom with me (that's near impossible), and I'm not going to bitch if you want to talk about <insert fandom we don't share here> or real life even over <insert fandom we share here>

It's a respect thing.

[identity profile] dots.livejournal.com 2007-09-03 10:03 pm (UTC)(link)
I friended most people on my current flist over fandoms or roleplays we shared, but we all talk about normal life. Because really, we live it. And I talk a lot about an RP that a lot of them aren't in, and none of them have gotten bitchy about it yet.

It's interesting for me, actually, to hear about people's real lives and other fandoms and stuff.

[identity profile] floralcloud.livejournal.com 2007-09-03 10:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, same here. I mean, I like hearing about real life and other stuff alot more than I do about fandoms, considering I've been in one for so long and...well, we've mostly said all there is >_<;

[identity profile] orphen.livejournal.com 2007-09-03 10:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Obviously people are supposed to only talk about fandom 24/7- THERE IS NOTHING MORE TO LIFE BESIDES FANDOM.

Damn those people for being, ya know, human and all.
