I got something like "now my dog really doesn't like eating cats" or something but that was after looking up most of the kanji because for some reason first-year didn't teach us any kanji which is stupid. They're teaching it now but it's too late for us juniors (our first-year Japanese teacher is really new) and you probably don't care about this at all but whatever. Anyway I still don't really get that sentence.

And not that the dog liked eating cats, either, it's a cat (subject) that "liked eating" some other undefined object...

Oh, good. My Japanese is veeery rusty, but I was sure it didn't make much sense. [I'm taking Arabic now, so I've forgotten Kanji! - Plus, my sensei was just AWFUL]
