Well, the only advice I can think of is to join communities and be active in them. Lurking won't get you anywhere. Comment! Email your favorite authors, IM your favorite artists! It's how I've met my best friends.

Ah~ Thanks! In fact, all my secrets are made with soft/cute colors. It's sort of a trademark thing, but you're the first to notice. And thanks for the advice, I'll def. try it.
