Yeah, I was happy when I read it; I really like her, too. I hope they let her stay kind of nerdy, though...

Another character I'm really enjoying is Slade (and yes, I know who he is the context of the comics). I kinda hope he survives the backstory stuff and we see him show up in the current-day storyline. I'm guessing he will; but, hey, people thought Deadshot would be a major villain, but was he killed off in one episode, so who knows.

I love pretty much everyone on that show, but Felicity and Digg are my favorites. They're both so well grounded in reality compared to Oliver's (admittedly justified) manpain. And Felicity's awkwardness is just the cutest thing in the world. It looks like she's going to be way more involved in the next couple of episodes, at least until they find Walter, so you'll have that to look forward to?

I wholeheartedly support this idea, OP. She's by far my favorite female character in the show, and I wish that she could have more time with Oliver/Diggle. Maybe they could cut down the screen time Laurel Lance gets in favor of Felicity. I know that Laurel is supposed to be the main female, but she's been rather boring (and I don't mean that I'd want Felicity to become a love interest, definitely not).

Yay! I came to this show for Barrowman and she's one of the main reasons I've stayed with it. (the other being Barrowman, still, of course.)

I love her too! I think she's a great female character and all her scenes so far have been awesome. I hope she becomes a Chloe like character to Oliver (as in Chloe & Clark, even tho I did like Chloe/Oliver too).

Also Crixus is on Arrow too which makes me double happy :D

Arrow. It's based (loosely?) on DC Comics' Green Arrow. The character in question is Felicity Smoak, a gal that works in IT at the main character's family's company, and who he's gone to for info and help on occasion.

Yeah, I was just bored one night and was all like "Maybe this will be a nice easy-watching show", and I actually kind of got pulled in! :) I'm a sucker for a good mystery and it definitely has mystery elements to it - like how did Ollie survive on that island and who on Earth is behind that list?

Barrowman doesn't hog the scenery, but he does work well in the scenes he's in. :)

And yeah, the first time I saw Felicity and her interactions with the major characters I was like "Hmmm."

Then when she kept showing up I kept liking her more and more. :)

I adore Felicity and am thrilled with the rumors that the actress will be a regular next season.

But I really hope they don't pair her up with Oliver. That dude is far too messed up to have a genuine love interest right now so let's keep Laurel away, as well.

She is quite awesome, most of the women on the show are. It's the lead character that I find to be rather unlikable.

Thanks! :) As for Oliver - the only time I really want to smack him is when he gets this kind of douchebag look on his face when he's lying to someone or otherwise patently not telling the truth.

I get that in-verse, Oliver is hiding his capabilities, but still.

Felicity is love. But, that moment when She lets her hair down, takes off her glasses, puts on a short dress, and everyone is stunned as if they couldn't tell she was drop-dead gorgeous in 3... 2...

I'm not sure if they'll go that route with her, if only because attractiveness doesn't seem to be a big deal with Felicity, and she already dresses in cute, business-appropriate outfits. I could see Oliver getting weirdly protective if she started seeing someone, though.
