so, what did you guys think about the season ending?

I personally liked it very much (and I hate musical episodes!), although it was a bit too fast paced.

It's like my bad fanfiction fantasies come to life omg c:

The first two songs were great, the other five were pretty okay. I enjoyed the fast pace somewhat, although I wish they hadn't used the same 'quick let's get everyone back to normal through eye movies' pattern like 2.2

The pacing was atrocious. Worst paced episode of the show, in my opinion.

I did love a couple of the songs, but they could have cut some out. There were a bit much.

Other than those two things, I liked it. Seeing the ponies trying and failing to do the jobs that the cutie marks assigned them was pretty fun to watch :)

It was hinted at that this was part one of a three part arc. I don't know if she was just trolling, though,

It was so rushed. And it didn't make much sense. Why did Twilight become a princess exactly? Celestia just says "lol why the fuck not!" and that's it, really.

It would be fun if Celestia could no longer set/rise the sun by herself, and thus that was Twilight's new role. given her name Maybe having to take on Luna's job for a thousand years really drained her.

It would be, but what would that mean for Celestia's alicornhood? Can alicorns even retire? And what is Twilight alicorn/princess of? Magic? Friendship? Blark?

Aaagh no answers. On the other hand, it'd be interesting if Celestia didn't explain everything because she herself doesn't know what's going on, and she's only pretending to for the sake of appearances....
