Female characters can be awesome without being princesses.

It's bad enough that certain awesome characters who actually are princesses don't get the recognition they deserve. And by "certain awesome characters" I mean Kida.

It's bad enough that certain awesome characters who actually are princesses don't get the recognition they deserve.

Yes, that makes me sad too. It sometimes feels like putting the princess label on some characters means that some of their accomplishments or their actions have to be ignored or not given the same amount of attention they deserve. It's like, "You did awesome McCool thing? Whatever, put some sparkles on, princess."

I like Kida. I kinda just wish there had been more of her during the climax without her being zonked out on power crystals.
