iirc cross-posting for comms weren't implemented because of permission problems

communities are not journals so dw can't really "post on behalf of someone else" in a community

also, some communities moderated so if your post goes through on the dw side the mod for the lj community has to approve it too and there is no way for dw to guarantee cross-posting in that kind of situation

Ah well. Of course it makes sense...

(I'm still waiting anxiously for LJ to throw a fit and block x-posts from DW as spam and/or hacking.)
