OP just try to understand that it's more common in women then you think (I assume you are a woman since you are talking about a woman in your secret.)

I lost a bit of hair a few years ago, my Doctor said I was not going bald, and while it's true I didn't lose more, it also didn't grow back :/ So now I am very limited to how I can style my hair and I spent a lot of time being extremely depressed about it.

Maybe it wouldn't bother me so much if I weren't so ugly in so many other ways... but man I understand, it sucks.

Can I just offer an internet hug, here?

I won't be patronizing and say 'Aw, I'm sure you're beautiful, everyone's beautiful!', because I hate that kind of thing myself. Nothing's *wrong* with your looks, or mine, but it's annoying when people pretend that there *isn't* a bell curve of generally-understood attractiveness, that for every movie star there's a girl who just isn't going to turn heads when she walks into a room, but who still deserves to come to terms with herself and feel valued.
