If you want to bind them, then bind them. It's your body, do whatever you want to it that seems fit.

I can't relate to this personally, but it's your body - do what you want with it, so long as it's not detrimental to your health or the health of others.

And I think you should talk to your friends about it. If they're consistently cosplaying as dudes or as flat-chested girls, you might not be as alone as you think.

Also, I can't vouch for all people, but in my group of friends, those of us who are trans and bind or used to bind for gender identity related reasons enjoy talking tips/techniques, and do this both with each other and with friends who cosplay and perform drag. I would suggest bringing up your interest in binding to those cosplaying friends, and seeing if they have any tips to share with you, or if they simply enjoy chatting about it. Bet they will be excited to talk about binding with you!
