It's okay to be a feminist and like Pyramid Head. He's a problematic character, yes, but it's okay to say, have rape fantasies, and still be a feminist. Feminism is all about equality, and freedom to make choices.

Pyramid Head is a problematic character? Or do you mean that he represents something problematic?

For Pyramid Head, I'd think it would actually be pretty accurate to say those two things are one and the same.

EDIT: Oh wait, never mind, I think I misunderstood you. >_< (I swear I'm normally at least halfway decent at reading comprehension!)

Is Pyramid Head really a problematic character though? Nobody in the game (as far as I know) approves of what he does or tries to give excuses or anything. And the writers of the game don't think he is in the right either (again as far as I know)

A character that does shitty stuff =/= a problematic character.

A problematic character to me would be a character that does shitty stuff but the narrative/author/whichever does not actually portray any of these things as bad or is even seen to agree with them. That is problematic. Not just a character being crazy and creepy.

How is Pyramid Head a problematic character? For one, he's barely even a character, he's just a physical manifestation of part of James' psyche.

Also, problematic why? He's a rapist, ok, but you're not supposed to think that's a good thing. It's portrayed as fucking awful, creepy and terrifying.
