Since Ace bandages are used for support (like for ankles and wrists) it's not flexible and doesn't allow for expanding and contracting with the chest when you breathe. It can actually get tighter with extended wear which can cause bruising, damage to breast tissue, lung restriction which can lead to fainting, and broken ribs.

I did not know that. Well, that explains the issues I had during the plays I've done wherein I was playing a man. I will have to keep that in mind for next time.

The obnoxious part is that when you are in recovery from top surgery, guess what you have to wear for a week without taking it off once, even to shower?

If you guessed "an ace fucking bandage," you understand why I am currently wheezing impotently into this anon post.
