Okay, I haven't read what is going on in this thread, but I'm gonna assume you just don't like the old style of writing (those long, uninteresting descriptions), or find them hard to read. That's basically the only reasonable reason I can think to despise all classics, although there are simpler works that have been classified as classics. It's a broad genre anyway. Some people call Harry Potter one of the classics, so you probably just mean old-timey things.
