There are some classics I really don't like (ones that have long descriptive tangents about thing that have nothing to do with the plot and are boring or ones that are hard to understand or ones that are about characters that I just can't stand). Then there are some that I understand the value of, but will never, ever read again (ones that are well written, but are bleak or depressing or have a plot that I have no real interest in). But there are a few that I really enjoyed. If you want to dismiss a lot of books because they're called classics that is entirely up to you, but I'd bet that, if you enjoy reading, there are at least one or two that you might like.
