Looking for a certain type of fic, or just general recommendations for a pairing or fandom? Ask and help out your fellow fans!

I'm looking for good, long Steve/Tony fics in the 616 comic universe. Not too much angst and no pre-established relationship. AU is okay too.

I once asked for it, but apparently Holmes/Watson is too popular a ship, so nobody recommended me anything.

I'm looking for the best SH gen. It can be epic friendship or case!fic, or both, or pretty much anything else that is well written. /and yes, I accept all the fandoms. Absolutely all of them.

You might like Observations on Form and Function (http://jenlee1.livejournal.com/8191.html). It's from Moriarty's perspective, but it's a good read, IMO. Ritchie!verse.

The best (in my opinion) fic in the latest hd-holidays was Here's The Pencil, Make It Work http://hd-holidays.livejournal.com/242184.html
It's not epilogue compliant though, I don't know if you're alright with that.

Most recent HP fic I read was The Boy Who Only Lived Twice. Basically Spy!fic where Harry is an unspeakable and enjoys being anonymous. The plot was excellent, much more tense and unhappy than the summary made it sound. It was a bit too porny for me at points, but that might be what you're looking for!

Supernatural - Gabriel/Michael. I just cannot find anything for them, and they are my secret love. I'll read anything at this point!

Can anyone rec me some Pokémon fics that are Cilan/anyone (rating below NC-17, please)? There is so little of it around.

I'd like everybody's best Snape+Harry friendship (of the sort that goes on at Potions and Snitches), including mentor fics, parent fics, teaming-up fics... just recommend me your favs. Or maybe some Snape+McGonagall friendship?

These are all Potions and Snitches recs.

He has some pacing issues for me, but I love some of the works of Oliversnape on Potions and Snitches.

The Memories of S. Snape deals with some dark issues. Friendship fic though.

Then I enjoyed the Ship to Shore series by Morgana. It's a little cliche but I enjoy it.

Also anything by Sita Z. Specifically Baby in a Box, Fox Tale, and Through a Glass Darkly.

Bil is also a great author and I'm going to suggest their works. She subverts a lot of tropes in her works lately or tackles them head on well. Running Away, Menagerie, and Visiting the Dead are all stories I go back and read often.

Hmmm.

I'm in the mood for some Avengers crack. Preferably either gen or slash- not a fan of most of the het pairings other than Bruce/Betty and that pairing tends to be more angsty than cracky.

Avengers, Merlin, Supernatural. Idk from experience, but I heard Sherlock has pretty quality slash fics.

Of course, with all of the above, because they're such HUGE fandoms, you get good and bad fic.

You posted this on a day I was already thinking of asking for recs! Yay!

I'm looking for some good Spider-Man/Peter Parker recs. Any canon should be okay. I'm all right with most ships, but focus on platonic, especially mentoring, relationships preferred. If you have a Super-family fic you absolutely adore, I'll take it, but I like the idea of Spider-Man with his original background interacting with the Avengers OR non-SF AUs, just for a bit of variety. :)

Can anyone recommend any fics featuring acquired disabilities that focus on the protagonist adjusting and moving on with life than on caretaking glurge or overwrought drama?

Almost everything I find seems to be either hurt/comfort or 'oh, this is the worst thing ever' OTT tragedy, neither of which is what I'm looking for.
