funny, i was just thinking about posting a comment asking about this.

can anybody actually rec me fandoms that have a LOT of really good slash fic? any fandoms welcome, seriously. i just want a new fandom for my slash love.

Avengers, Merlin, Supernatural. Idk from experience, but I heard Sherlock has pretty quality slash fics.

Of course, with all of the above, because they're such HUGE fandoms, you get good and bad fic.

Persona 4 has some big juicy fics for the big slash pairing in the fandom. And lots of good little fics for it and lots of good fics for other pairings entirely. Medium-sized(?) and friendly. The anime will get you up to speed with the main plot, and you can watch LPs if you want more details! Or get the games I guess. They are good.

Neon Genesis Evangelion has a big one that's gotten a lot of love lately because of the movie, but you gotta look around. Also medium-ish and friendly. Delve into NGE itself if you dare.

I've read a few good Sherlock slash fics, all on ffn and the kink meme. Check out the earlier rounds for the kink meme tho, once Tumblr joined in, the kink meme hurtled down a steep slope. Same with ffn really, start from the earliest pages, not the latest.

Supernatural has a lot, but I'd hardly say the majority are good. Don't look too closely at Dean/Cas fics, that's all I'll say. I read only recced Wincest, but the ones I've read aren't bad. (Protip: Mystery Spot Wincest is the best.)
