Whenever the girl is being harassed/someone tries to hurt her and her love interest/boyfriend/husband swoops in like a veritable dark and angry knight in shining armor and just mops the floor with the offender (breaking bones, slamming into objects if the situation calls it etc etc).
Followed by some 'I will kill anyone who hurts you' type of line and maybe some intense sex and and...

...and I can't believe I just realized I'm really into that in fanfiction. Every story that had a scene like that made me tingle and squee to myself.

P.S: TL;DR Damsel in distress scenarios in which the guys act dangerously protective of their gals does it for me almost every time. Darn all those bodice rippers I read while young. >>

Love that too. No matter what the involved genders are. At least one of my slash pairings has done this in canon, too! With the rescuer riding a horse, and the rescuee naked. Yep.
