nah, i know what you mean, op. i almost never read books while i was growing up, so now i'm trying to trudge through the "classics" because i feel like i should, but the ones i've read are just so... boring. sure, there's interesting bits, and i have liked one or two books, but by and large i just have a really hard time getting into the more dated writing styles.

but i also have a really hard time finding books i can get into in general, so i dunno.
