Eh. I'm not going to go 'but you have to give them a chance' or 'you're missing out' or anything, because you know what you like to read better than I would. Although I would suggest just treating them like any other book and reading them if you find the summary of it/back of the book interesting. They shouldn't be must-reads just because they're considered classic, but they also shouldn't be automatically dismissed for the same reason.

Unless you've sampled the various writing styles common to the books people think of as classics and don't like them, that is. I know I would've stabbed myself if I had to read one more Victorian romance novel in high school English.
