I'm not entirely sure what counts as having a lot of followers, and I'm curious as to what the average is.

My follower count has hovered around 180 for the last few weeks.

I only have 139. I'm in small fandoms and don't post original content, so that's probably why.

Weirdly though, a lot of people respond to my text posts. One time I said I was going to bed, and I somehow got 10 notes for that...

180? That's tumblr famous to me. I have 18. (I think.) Kinda surprised I have that many tbh because I rarely post my own entries and when I do I have nothing exciting to say...

Doesn't bug me much really, since I have enough fun just watching blogs and reblogging things I like and occasionally posting long, weird meta on one of my usually out of the way fandoms.

98. I mostly reblog fandom stuff and create GIFs for smaller movies (Lonestar State of Mind, Land Before Time) and music videos (Pink Floyd, Metallica)

About 300 or so, but then again I used to be one of the main translators for a small fandom.

Ashamed to say 300 seeing everyone else's response. I spend too much time there. Recently lost some followers tho, hopefully thanks to my URL change.

after a while you just start wondering who the fuck these people are and where they're coming from

23, which feels like a lot considering I mostly reblog fandom stuff, and my main fandom seems to have a pretty small pool of active people on Tumblr. I don't have much on my Tumblr that hasn't already been posted and relogged by several other people.

I just created a new account, and a new main blog recently, though. On my old account I had about 600 followers... probably thanks largely to the fact I often posted and reblogged hentai.

55. I lost one recently because I posted a picture of myself. Either they thought I was super ugly or were really disappointed i didn't actually look like my icon.

I have 76 and I'm not sure how I've ended up with that many tbh.

It hovers around 53~56. Roughly ten are people I know IRL or met on LJ/DW. I don't know why the rest are following me. Especially since I haven't been active for months, now.

I do have one post with 13,000+ notes which is kinda cool. It's just a gif, though.
