Well it's name is Slyveon, and seeing as:

1. All other prefixes have to do with type
2. 'Syl' means 'with' or 'together'

I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's dual-type.

Also I'm really hoping the gender ratio is something like 97% male because that would be hilarious.

Well presumably it'll have the same gender ratio as Eevee, and Eevee are like 87 percent male...

Unless it turns out to be like Azurill and Marill and some will change gender when evolving, or if they change the gender ratios in this gen.

That's awesome! But yeah the ration is most definitely 7:1 M:F

Then you were damn lucky :o They have the same gender ratio as the starters, ie. females are really damn rare (NEVER got a female starter!). I've usually had, like, maybe one female in the entire set, sometimes none. I've never got two or more unless I was specifically breeding until I got one.

Yep! Azurill has a 1:3 male to female ratio while marill has a 1:1 ratio, so when some female azurill evolve they become male. It's happened in all gens since azurill's existed, too. Suppose it's a bit like Nidoran f being able to breed, but Nidorina and Nidoqueen not being able to.

that is...really weird

The thing about Nidorina and Nidoqueen has always bugged me, lol. (in part because Nidoqueen is probably in my top 10 favorites list. And I love the entire Nido family a lot.)
