I haven't finished season 3, but I remember groaning at the stupid overused cliche of a girl being rude to another because the guy she likes fancies the other girl instead. Like with Daisy and that Albert (? the nephew) and the new kitchen maid. I just saw their first meeting where Daisy was immediately snappy to the new girl just because her crush smiled at her. Ugh. Wrtiers you can do better than that.

Also HOW many years has passed by from season 1 to season 3? She should have grown up at least a little bit by now.

I think 10 or so years has passed since the first episode (sinking of the Titanic in 1912 to early-1920-something). Yikes.

None of the characters have really changed much to reflect that amount of time (maybe Edith; Sybil was just always rather progressive). The show definitely does not have an adequate sense of time passing. It's most apparent in season 2, which is a large part of why, in my opinion, it's terrible and the weakest of the 3 so far.
