Doctor Who has 33 seasons ranging from 13 to 28 episodes long, and a TV movie.

Sherlock has six episodes.

It's not the amount of suck, it's the concentration.

This. It's like, Doctor Who fandom has earnt it's right to be cray cray, while Sherlock fandom is like this young, arrogant upstart that's gone completely off the rails. Tone it down, guys, or they'll be nothing left for season 3!

Well, each episode is between 1 1/2 and 2 hours long, so it's kind of almost like there's 12-ish episodes.
