Sherlock fandom is mostly slashers who are women. When you have that combination in a fandom, it becomes an easier target and easier to say it's more objectively bad than other fandoms that might have the same problems.

I don't need to "claim" anything. Just look at this thread bashing on fangirls. It wouldn't make people nearly so angry if it wasn't mostly women who liked slash.

Uh huh. You know the large majority of us are female shippers? Slash shippers. And there are fandoms like Teen Wolf and the Avengers abolutely bursting at the seams with slash fangirls, and they're not being bitched about, because they're not like Sherlock fandom, which invades everything AND, as this comment so succinctly proves, has an eternal persecution complex.

Keep bein' deluded though.
