Because of my mum, I inherited the ginger gene (red hair, pale skin, freckles). I hated it. Especially when growing up with a brown eyed/brown haired/natrual tanned little sister with no freckles.

After colloring my hair in highschool, my opinion changed though.
I started admiring others for having the red hair/freckles combination so much, that I at one point started obsessing over it. But I guess that is how it works? When you have it, you don't want it. And when you don't have it, you want it?
