I'm not in either fandom and don't care about whatever rivalry for "most crazy fandom" is going on here. I've seen 3 eps of Sherlock (I didn't really like it much) and zero eps of Dr. Who (completely uninterested)... but I can without doubt say that Sherlock fandom is way worse from an outsiders perspective. I rarely see the wank or crazy shit from Dr. Who fans but every week there is something about Sherlock slashgirls that makes me want to put a railroad spike through my brain.

Sherlock fandom gets a bad rep because it is bad. Especially the Johnlock stans. Yes, I'm not even in the fandom and I know the ship name because it is EVERYWHERE and always accompanied with fucking batshit commentary and drooling. I have yet to see rationality in that fandom. Sorry.
