I skip over tiny secrets and only come back to them if the number of comments are decent, so... that may or may not be the best attention grabbing strategy.

Eh, this is kind of like the argument with the illegible secrets. Some people think it attracts more people, others don't. I think it may work at first, but once there's a huge influx of secrets like it people will grow bored and stop caring about what was once an interesting outlier. Also, I think even when it works at first a lot of the comments aren't going to be about the secret but rather the aspect that made them bother to try to read it in the first place.
