So my SJW coworker got fired today.

I'm honestly kind of surprised it took this long. She was unpleasant towards everyone, and when I got out of the hospital, everyone started telling me all the unpleasant things she did while I was gone. Apparently she finally went one step too far with her verbal haranguing of everyone and someone basically said that if she didn't shut her yap and actually do her work for once he'd be filing a lawsuit for harassment. This was a few days ago, but it's not why she got fired.

Well, one of the IT guys started noticing some unusual traffic on the network and looked into it. Apparently the SJW coworker was using company resources to download things. Apparently it was pretty serious shit, too, since the IT guys were talking about having to contact the police. So she's been fired and could be pending investigation. Nobody outside of the IT department knows what it was, but because of the possible legal action it leads me to think she was involved in some sketchy shit and not just "lol I download movie at work."

Also, weird question, but how old was she (I sort of assume SJWs are all around average college-age, so late teens/early twenties)?

She was 25, just out of college. So yeah, you were pretty close.

No but seriously, she sounds like a character out of a book. I don't know much about this stuff, but what can you download that's so sketchy you'd need to call authorities? Personal information of people?

Lots of things, actually.

Credit card numbers, rootkits/malware distribution tools, attack software, child pornography... and that's not counting things like internal data (such as payroll information and stuff)

It's actually not the first time something like this has happened at my company- two years ago an accountant got caught downloading some stolen credit card numbers (and got fired).

I am putting five bucks down that she used the computer to make threats to people online.

Curious here; how did she end up in your workplace in the first place?

And now I wonder just what had she downloaded to get such a response from the staff.

No idea how she got hired in the first place... she must have been alright at hiding her behavior during the interview. I can't imagine anyone in upper management hiring her if they knew.

As for whatever it was she downloaded, I don't really know. The IT guys aren't saying anything and they probably won't until they're sure how to proceed. But from past experience, I would say it was probably either internal documents or stolen credit card numbers.

Wow, that's some serious shit if she got canned for it and with police getting involved.

So she complained about the whiteman while downloading credit card information? Toofunny.

Damn, she must've been in some serious shit to be arrested. It's a good thing they found out now and not later. Sounds like everyone will be better off without her.

I don't remember when I discussed her last, but I do know I talked about her sometime in December, before Christmas.

didn't you talk about her twice before or did I remember it wrong?

I think Socks talked about her a few times before, but they were all in late November/early December, since I think she got sick around Christmas, but I could be remember wrong
