This day has been so bizarre for me regarding plagiarism within fandom. I heard about Cassandra Claire for the first time just this morning, and I swear it's leading from one story to the next. Internet drama interests the hell out of me when I'm super sick!

I still don't entirely know what the whole Cassandra Clare drama is, every time I try to read up on it I just get exhausted because there are whole NOVELS about the shit she's pulled.

I was never a part of Harry potter fandom though and the stories get a bit confusing in some accounts.

My cousin, who is an ONTD poster, provided me with a lot of links that she asked for in comments to a CC post there. She was shocked and intrigued and sent one to me, and I actually have a lot of time to read it, since I'm in bed all day :( ugh

But yes, you're absolutely right. There is so much to read, it's not even funny. I haven't read everything, but there is one person who tries to add in literally every single detail they can remember. I skim through much of it.
