Yes exactly. I really don't get why people think that just because someone is famous they are going to be interesting. Plus yes I have some friends who are celebs who are lovely and I like them a lot, but no more lovely than my other friends who work in regular jobs and not the show business.

Oh and yes to the drama and insecurities meaning neurosis.

I remember once being backstage having a drink with the leads in a big musical, I was there because one of the leads was a close friend of someone in my family, so I knew them as a family friend, but know nothing of musicals so didn't realise that the other leads had big fan bases and were quite famous. Anyhow after about an hour I left with one of these celebs, and there were hundreds of screaming fans behind a barrier waiting for him. I just didn't get why they would bother, I mean he was OK, but not that interesting. Why wait out in the cold for a glimpse of someone who yes has a talent, but it doesn't make their personality any different to anyone else.
