OP, I've been in your shoes (I actually am in your shoes right now D:), but really try to see it from the writer's POV. How would you like being hounded over fanfiction of all things? Being treated like a machine that spits out stories instead of a human that has a life to attend to and limits and needs?

I figure you haven't really hounded the writer irl and this secret is just your way of venting, but you are not going to gain any sympathy points around here.

Also, heaven help you if the writer frequents F!S and feel so pressured and bummed out that they decide to stop updating. You shouldn't have given away your fandom. :/

Yep, this.

Man, it seems nastier than just saying so in a comment—making a big thing about it in a secret for this whole comm to see, but addressing it directly with "you" like it is just a comment, and naming the fandom so the people will know who it is about if they see it.

It's like you want to make a complaint, which is rather insensitive to start with, but you want to do it in public for everyone else to hear too. I think this is pretty bad form, OP.
